Big news! I've decided to transition the "Black Heaven" visual novel project from a portfolio piece into a full-length dating sim! 

This will involve establishing an LLC to develop and publish the game, contracting artists and designers, creating a demo version of the game, and launching a Kickstarter campaign for the full-length game. If all goes well, the game will be available for download on itch.io, Steam, and other platforms.

Today, I've completed a 5,000-word draft of the demo, which includes placeholder art assets (backgrounds, sprites) and music. It's not available for public download (it uses copyrighted material), but will be used privately as a proof-of-concept to recruit team members.

The final game is tentatively planned to have three romance-able characters with custom art and have a length of 120K words, which equates to 8-10 hours of play time.
